Don't miss the Community Meeting May 2!

Join us for a Community Meeting on Thursday, May 2, at 7 pm at the Knollwood Fire Station, 14 Skokie Highway (on the west frontage road on Rt. 41, just north of Rt. 176 - here's a map).

Wondering about the proposed Target development?

As you've probably heard, there may be a Target store built on the south side of Rt. 176 at the old Shepherd Chevrolet property. Knollwood Neighbors has been in the loop on the proposed development. One of our goals is to ensure safe access to the bike path at the intersection of Shagbark and Rt. 176.

Holiday Lights Winners!

Once again this year we had an abundance of fabulous and imaginative lights displays to choose from. And the winners are ...

706 Smith

575 Basil

911 North

913 Burris

1007 Plaister

Each winner received a gift card for a local business, plus a personalized award certificate.

There's still time to view these and all the other beautiful displays - why not take a drive around Knollwood tonight?

Good meeting last night

We had a pretty well-attended Annual Meeting last night - thanks to all who came. We re-elected our sitting officers to another term: Ed Whitehead, President; Karl Snoblin, Treasurer; and Nicki Snoblin, Secretary. We also reaffirmed Susan Dennis as our membership director and appointed two new directors, Wendy Finger and Rob Wayne.
